Morning Compo81.
It seems that the door tops are too vertical so carefully bending the fixing rods is the only option. As lowcatjo said, the quality of parts varies greatly.

I have to disagree with John about the replaceable oil filter elements. I checked my official Land Rover parts book and it states that all Series 3 2.25 engines had element part number RTC3184 fitted.

Welcome to the forum TOTO115. All Series 3 2.25 engines had replaceable elements for the oil filters. The 2.5 engines had spin on. You should be able to get the correct one from any Land Rover spares ...
