Get a hand primed plant sprayer from a garden centre or Wilkinsons for about 6 quid. Take the nozzle of the end of the pipe to give a wider appature. Fill it with your EP90 and stand it in a bucket of hot water. Put the pipe in the hole and pump the pressure primer. Instant EP90 squirting everywhere. Eventually you'll get enough into the box.
That's how mine went first time. Second time I used this method the box was full in less than five minutes with no mess. |

i use an old fire extinguisher, find i=one that reharges via a bike tyre type valve. then fill it with ep 90, pressurise it with a compressor and fit a bit of flexible pipe on the end so you can poke it up into the filler, squeeze the handles and its squirty time. _________________ 1972 s3 lwb (dreadnought)

I use one of these http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B0001K9R4Y a bit time consuming but easily controllable and non messy. _________________ If Its perfect, then it lacks Character...Current Vehicle: Series 3 109 Hardtop 2.25 Diesel called Dolores (chequer plate free)

Can,t disagree with that god the army know how to do things for the the quick and most easy way, one of the wonderful benfits of ex-military lr not to mention extra couple of inches lift and bolt on gearbox cross members. _________________ I'm big and i'm back.

Garden sprayer works well, fill it and warm the EP90 though - it works faster; I like the fire extinguisher idea as well!!
I m doing work on the gearboxes with the breathers - extending them as were blocked so 2 jobs in one... But as 3 jobs in one I'm also setting mine up to top fill!! It's so much easier. _________________ 1978 Series 3 S/W 2.25 Petrol/LPG

I got a funnel, a piece of garden hose and a hose clip, and joined them together.
I then put a washing up bowl underneath, and pour.
when you hear the oil hit the bowl, your done - or the pipe's come out.
If you have the luxury of spare hands though...
Good Luck

I use a 1/2 litre bottle repeatedly filled and squeeze it in. This does the job while also adequately lub'ing my hand, arm, driveway etc.
One day I'll wisely invest in one of the above suggestions. _________________ My mother-in-law said "It's not very comfortable but people are waving at us". |
