Hi all.

Two questions for you.........

On my 'new' FFR 109" ex military I have the big jenny.

1, what is the lowest rpm that puts out the full output? is it a around 1200 ie a fast idle?

2, is there any way of oiling/greasing the unit?

Thanks in advance.

Evening websnail.
Don't know if this helps but the standard alternator runs at about twice engine speed and cut in speed is about 1500rpm alternator revs.
To check a standard alternator output the engine is usually run at 2000rpm (4000rpm alternator speed) so that would be a good point to make a start I reckon.
