Hi I've put an update disc in for Satnav, and didn't let it finish installation so now it's stuck in reset loop. Have seen some forums whereby you can reset by disconnecting battery, wait 20 minutes for everything to discharge, then put + and - cables together (whilst not being attached to battery obviously) and this resets everything including Satnav so you can install disc properly. Really nervous about doing this has anyone done it, does it work and is there a chance I could cause further damage? Sat Nav guy is saying need a new (second hand unit) £200 plus fitting. |

So Satnav guy says another unit needed - does he perchance have a spare that he can let you have for a very reasonable £200??
If it is stuck in a loop, then it's no use to you at present so I wouldn't be too worried about trying the + to - idea..............but then again I don't have a satnav _________________ Paul.

Evening swarmedax.
If you're worried about doing further damage, why not have a word with a Land Rover main dealer? Could be cheaper in the long run.
