How was the agricultural machinery show Alan? I drove back from the in-laws via Andover and Marlborough on Sunday evening and passed a mass exodus of tractors and machinery heading towards the A303. Not many landies though.

Afternoon Rich.
It was an enjoyable day but the only Land Rovers were the Carmichael Fire Engines or in the military display. The classic vehicle class does not include Land Rovers as they are classed as commercial. There were probably nearly as many Land Rovers in the car park as were on display. This year there seemed not to be as many tractors as last year. Bloodhound was on display but no free rides and it wasn't fired up. Still I learned the various ways of starting a jet engine.

Correction to the previous post.
There was a display of Land Rover vehicles apart from the military and commercial ones. It was mainly Range Rovers but there was a few Land Rovers including 2 Carawagons, father and son owned.

Best laid plans and all that...

My intention was to make the most of baby knappster being in nursery and to do some gardening this morning and do a few jobs on the 90 this afternoon. A mate came round for a brew and after he went, I did a bit more gardening until I collected baby knappster.

Looks like Iíll have to do my Landy jobs next week... Rolling Eyes

The driver who delivered my MGB brake discs etc today asked if he could have an old battery that was originally on the Land Rover for a couple of years and then on the MG for about 9. Saves me taking it to the tip.

...and the rat that I have seen visiting the bird table for the past few days is no longer courtesy of my spring operated rat trap. I saw a pest control van in the nearby pub car park today so I presume that is where it came from.

We are your virtual mates Paul. You'll have to imagine the ale though.

Hmmm, imaginary ale or real ale - not much of a choice is it? I have a couple last night. Can't have any more for a week as I start on out-of-hours call today for a week.

Iím off over the weekend so Iíll have a couple. Then on nights next week so canít have any then.

I saw a friend at work today who I havenít seen for some time. He works in the Forest of Dean so I donít see him much. He saw I was using the asbo Audi for work and asked if I still had the 90. I said I did and he replied not to get rid of it as I wouldnít get another! Crying or Very sad
Very random but I hope heís not been speaking to Mrs K! Surprised Rolling Eyes

I walked to the pub with the dogs today, 3 pints of Otter ale and walked back home.

Well, I was excused lawn mowing duties that day as the grass is not growing so quickly now and the dogs wanted a walk!
