I really should update my signature! The series 3 now has it’s 200Tdi but is getting some fettling. Has been for some time, to be honest.

As for the Dacia duster, I wouldn’t have a car named after a cleaning cloth! Still, if the police had them, they’d catch all their criminals as they’d fall over laughing at the old bill chasing them in cleaning cloth cars! Laughing Laughing Surprised

Be careful what you laugh at. Remember the 'joke' motors from the 80s? Skoda, Hyundai, Kia etc. Look at them now - respected motors for the most part. Who knows, in another 30yrs maybe even the Freelander will be looked at as a half decent motor from the past!

Well, I suppose I'd accept even a 'Freelander' (what a ridiculous name - sounds like some poor unrepentant Afrikaner) if the only other choice was some electric POS from Tesla.

4.51pm Thursday 12th July.
It's raining and the washing had to be brought in quickly.

OMG! - an Englishman mentioned the weather! - where's your stiff upper lip Alan? (Meanwhile, Leicester continues to eerily more and more resemble California, so could you send some of that rain this way please)

For some strange reason it showed that I had duplicated the post so I deleted and replaced it.
The rain is moving East but I think it will miss Leicestershire.

The water level in the first water butt has risen by a surprising amount and, just a make you jealous Geoff, it's trying to rain now, 6pm.

6.20pm. Looks like that's it. Thunderstorms forecast tomorrow from 11am onwards but Leicestershire is not in the thunderstorm zone on the weather forecast map but that doesn't mean you won't get one Geoff. You'll have to go to Birmingham.
How uninteresting is this.

I'd as soon fry as go to Brum thank you. And I am jealous of your water butt - I think something died in ours.
