Hello
On my Y1991 Defender 90 the rear floor front Crossmember is badly corroded together with failure of the 'top hat' channel/pot rivet connection points. The rear floor panel is fine.

I've brought from YRM a galvanised Crossmember and 'top hat' channel sections, which look fine.

I've also brought from Craddocks Pin Rivets & Cover assemblies (Part Nos. 79281, 79293 & AAU6774). I've no experience with these and it looks like I'd need quite specialist equipment to use these. They look 'structural' so I'm proposing to use M5 Roofing bolts instead (eg Screwfix/Part No. 3442J).

Before I start I'm seeking re-assurance that:
- it's practical to replace a Crossmember while leaving the rear floor in place
- use of the pin rivets & Cover assemblies are not practical.

And have I missed anything that will cause me additional difficulties.
Thanks
Tony
