Can anyone help diagnose these symptoms my 110 has started making:
When decelerating through the gears there is a whining noise with slight vibration.
When accelerating there is no noise.
When the diff lock in on there is no noise at all.
When coasting along in neutral with engine off you can hear a rattling noise, like something is loose under the vehicle.

It sounds like a fault with the centre diff but I can't be 100% sure. Something like a bearing maybe?

Thanks for your advice, I am going to look at changing out the transfer box.

Have you checked your propshaft UJs. Blown spider bearings can give the same symptoms.
