North is any where above Coventry.
So Cannock is in the North
Rugby is in the South
Above the lakes is where dragons live, and care should be taken if going this far.

Having a certain member of my family living 'above the Lakes' I can concur with that. Apart from that, see my post yesterday on the Southern section thread (and I shall now confine myself to the Midlands section of this forum where I belong <promise>)

The perceived north is probably everything above Watford Gap services.....where last time I stopped off someone tried to sell me a 'genuine' Rolex for £20 Shocked

The real north is where the brown ale flows freely.

The far north is where the single malt whiskey starts (Scotch only mind!)

Did you buy the rowlex? Thatís probably how it was spelt on the watch face!

I believe whoever it was went on to bigger and better things.......possibly making some of the new replacement "genuine" land rover parts!!!
