More importantly have you got one on your Land Rover, Paul? It'll deter anyone from towing it away.

Probably not the first thing that would spring to mind as an antitheft device. Mine was expensive but what price piece of mind.

err, no... still relying on the old missing clutch slave cylinder routine.

Once I have Henry back on the road I will be looking for something a little less radical.

This one was recovered overnight. It was used in the theft of an ATM in the north Cotswolds, together with a stolen telehandler. Evil or Very Mad Evil or Very Mad The Landy was hotwired to steal it. The thieves slashed the tyres on the police cars at the nearest police station to thwart the police response. Evil or Very Mad

Reminds me of that scene in American Graffiti where the teenagers chain a police car's rear axle to something immovable.

Rich, surely there must be a long forgotten bylaw somewhere that allow for perpetrators of crimes such as this to have 7 bells of the brown stuff kicked out of them by the local Land Rover Series 3 & 90-110 Club members?
I of course consider my self to be local to the north Cotswolds Smile

Yup, there be dragons north of Watford (as I found out when my family moved from Surrey to St Albans, and neighbours referred to our moving 'up north'!- of course the world was a bigger place in 1967 before the interweb thingy and the Great North Road was still the Great North Road) Cue another musical interlude:

Not me though. That year I was in my prime busy stripping down and removing/replacing engines. gearboxes etc with help from my similarly aged and enthusiastic mates.

The thieves could be put in the stocks and have used EP90 oil thrown over them.
