I would suggest the villages of Beaulieu and Buckler's Hard as suitable start/finish points.

Stonehenge to Beaulieu, 37 miles according to google maps. But add in some back roads, perhaps 45-50 miles. Could be a plan. Smile

It might need a slightly early start to avoid the tourists (9am?) or start somewhere nearby such as Amesbury. There’s some good back roads that would avoid the A36 unless we go through Salisbury to take in the cathedral. Smile

Solstice Park Services at Amesbury just off the A303 would be a good starting point. It's best to avoid Salisbury altogether in the tourist season. From experience it's not one of the easiest places to circumnavigate.
