I'd also planned on attending as it's the closest show to me. Unfortunately I have also been informed that I am unable to go due to a prior, wife initiated, booking.

When I pointed out that the Malvern show has been on the calendar for a considerable time, and that the wife's booking hasn't made it as far as an entry on said calendar, that in itself initiated the start of what could have been a spectacular row. I decided that the time had come to put my foot down and insist that I was going to Malvern - I am after all the man of the house!!!

Anyway, if anyone is in the Telford area tomorrow and sees a green 17 plate Astra with a sad looking 50yr old bloke in the passenger seat, please give me a wave.

Paul, are you going to Malvern?. I'm lucky, Newbury is booked for April with no objections from Mrs. D. She's easy going and I don't interfere with her outings. This works very well for both of us.
I pity anyone in the passenger's seat of a 17 plate Astra.

Iíll go to the Newbury sale too, but no doubt Mrs K will have a damn good go at arranging something else, telling me Iíve got domestic tasks, using emotional blackmail or just saying I donít need more junk! Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes

The Malvern sale is definitely off the table now. Rolling Eyes

Winter would make Mrs K more determined not to spend time at anything Landy-related!

It's a nice car Alan. 1400cc, 150bhp, turbo, what's not to like?

The expense when it goes wrong.
