Hi Frank,
Hi Guys,

I received the profiles still in April, but didn´t have time to check them properly and to reply to you so far, so sorry for the delay.
I notice that the sizes are not matching exacty with the lenght of the windows: only the longest bars for the back side windows are of the exact size: all others should be shortened and cut to the right size.
Additionally there are no assembling instructions and neither any screws (and neither holes in the bars) to fix the channels to the frame.
I am a little bit disappointed, as I was expected something more for the whole amount I paid for the channels Surprised Crying or Very sad

Any hint or special instructions about perforation, installation, cutting and screws to use to fit the channels ?
And a last question: wouldn´t the screw heads damage the window when fitted ? There is only one millimeter thickness at the bottom, so I was wondering which kind of screws and how they can be fitted, in order to keep the channels fixed to the frame (especially above and on the sides).

Thanks for helping !

Kind regards

David

I had the issue with the screws damaging the glass when I rebuilt the old doorstops on my Series 3 some years ago. I had to use countersunk screws. I used the generic window channel which isn’t as good as that supplied from the club shop.
