Have I ever mentioned that the old Royal Enfield factory site backs onto my back garden?

No, Paul. I wonder if there are any bikes buried there.
It's rumoured that in a field near Andover there are some DeLoreans buried but they've never been found.

I think many have tried to find the DeLoreans without success.
A dash cam is low down on the want list at the moment Rich. Priorities are new springs and shocks on the Land Rover and sorting out the MG's overheating.

Why? I mean, I understand why some Spitfires were buried in, Malaya was it? - but DeLoreans? Confused

C.T. Wooler was a company based in Andover that converted DeLoreans to RHD. When the scandal broke and DeLorean ceased it was rumoured the remaining cars couldn't be sold so the ones awaiting conversion disappeared and the rumour spread about them being buried. I don't know but since nobody has ever found them with metal detectors I tend to treat it as just a local myth. But who knows. Is there buried stainless steel somewhere?

Well, they'd better be well wrapped, or very stainless.

And I just checked - not in my attic - only Land Rover stuff allowed there now Smile

Not when I last looked this afternoon Rich, unfortunately.
Since 2nd November I've driven 121 miles all on dog walking duties. It was a damp afternoon today and I used the heated windscreens as they were misting up. It soon cleared. Now the earth wire on the relay problem has been resolved they're working fine. I'm very pleased I decided to have them fitted when the bulkhead was replaced. Now I need heated door windows.

I’m still reliant on an ineffective heater and a window down to clear my windscreen Sad A heated windscreen is on the list but some way off sadly.

Rich, what's a "window down?"
The Land Rover was on dog walking duties this afternoon.
There was a Mitoyuzu pick up parked on the dog walk. It was parked oddly so I took a photo just in case. Rural crime is on the increase so if I hear of anything happening in the area I've got details.

As it says on the tin, Alan. It helps clear condensation in the absence of a heated screen. But not in cold weather! Smile

We had a rare lie-in this morning! Little knappster stayed in bed until 0830. I’ll hopefully do a bit of gardening this afternoon when Mrs K and little knappster do some painting and watch a c-word film on tv. I might even get a few minutes to look at the Landy... Smile

I was reading a link on FB about a guy who is selling a job lot of Series landies including a forward control fire engine and a stage 1 although most were SWB series landies. All looked like great projects. Very Happy Hopefully they’ll be restored.
