Possible, Saunton Sands Beach, North Devon, as there is another very similar photo with a flying Wessex helicopter and its close to an air sea rescue base.

Doesn't look like Saunton Sands to me. Saunton has no stones - it is rolling sand dunes (Braunton Burrows) that goes straight onto the nicest pure sandy beach I have ever been on. Also, where is the Saunton Sands Hotel? It should be in the background - great big white building.
