I use ebay a lot but if they do away with PayPal, I won’t be using it. Are they discontinuing PayPal due to the fees?

I personally think that they are just making a grab for the extra money that would have previously gone to Paypal. The ebay fees are going up as I stated earlier.

Thanks for the heads’ up Paul. I must have missed this announcement. Not sure where I’ll buy my tools and Landy stuff in between the Newbury sale though. Sad

I guess that my selling days on ebay may be over.

My wife feels the same way, Paul, and she has sold a lot on there. Practically everything I buy comes from ebay, but selling not so much, and now maybe nothing. You should get an email about it, Rich - I've had two and ignored them so far. Greed and complexity kills a lot of websites in the end.

Perhaps I’ve deleted them the.m believing them to be the usual marketing and advertising rubbish. Not for the first time, I usually bin the emails from BT telling me my bills are going up... but then they do look the same as the advertising nonsense. Rolling Eyes

I don’t want eBay having my bank account details. I’ve had my account hacked before so I’ll probably close the account and find other means of buying more stuff to clutter my garage. Smile

Mrs. D gave the lawns their first cut of the year while I, neither use nor ornament, had to sit and watch. It's getting extremely tedious. Fortunately she bought a battery mower a couple of years ago so it was easy for her. The Land Rover is looking neglected.

You’ll soon be back in it Alan. Very Happy

Another day training in Clevedon. A tidy looking 90 seen on the back of a flatbed truck heading south on the M5.

I was in a car heading in the opposite direction so only got a brief glimpse. It was a liveried truck so likely not.

Isn't it an offence to sound the horn when stationary except to avoid an accident?

I was somewhat shocked this morning to see that the murdered man pictured on the front page of the paper was Sir Richard Sutton. I bought my first Land Rover from Sir Richard Sutton's Settled Estates.

A local man has been arrested. A Range Rover was stopped in Hammersmith.

I remember a time when the good guys drove Range Rovers - like in The Avengers - but I fear those times are gone.
