Hi there,

Just joined as I am picking up a 1975 Series 3 on Thursday. Its had the chassis and the bulkhead welded and had a lot of new parts fitted. Hopefully just needs a few bits finished to make it roadworthy. I plan on using it and do a rolling restoration on it. Not looking for concourse just a bit nicer than what it is just now.
No doubt I will be back asking a lot of questions.
Oh and I live in Stow in the Scottish Borders.

Thanks.

Yeah pics will be taken on collection.
It's a petrol swb not sure what you call it. It's got a hard top with no windows in the side if that makes sense?
Tottaly new to all this so will be a steep learning curve I imagine. It's been off the road for a while so will need some tic.
I don't plan on using it.for my daily driver but I live up a rough farm track so will be used to go up and down the track and for towing a big trailer to collect hard core etc.

Hello Norrie

Welcome to the forum and impending Landy ownership.

From what you say it sounds like a 2.25lt petrol 88' van back model.

Good luck with the rolling restoration - it sounds risky, I usually do any work on my Landy with it in gear and the handbrake engaged.

You're clearly a brave man.

Cheers
Geoff Wink

Welcome - don't worry about what other Geoff said - I've been doing rolling restorations on two or three Landies (including a 1975 petrol 2.25 Series 3) over 27 years and they haven't rolled over me yet!
