Good luck with tracing and curing leaks, Alan. I used to be forever tightening the windscreen clamp bolts on my green Landy, but not to try to cure leaks but irritating, untraceable noises. I've had/have my fair share of leaks though - I periodically apply clear sealant fluid above the driver's side windscreen - it's that or fit a windscreen wiper on the inside! - very annoying driving and mopping the windscreen at the same time. No doubt one day I should take it out and replace the seal - wish I had more faith that would cure it. I've become more philosophical about leaks and niggling rattles with the passing of time. _________________ 2 1981 Stage One 109 V8 Station Wagons |

What clear fluid sealant do you use Geoff? Boatlife is very good but it's white and somewhat messy to use. _________________ Alan Drover.

I just been to look, Alan - I bought it ages ago and don't use much at a time - it's Comma Seek 'n' Seal - it's very runny so it soaks into tiny cracks and crevices, so I have to clean off any that runs down on to the windscreen, and it's also very sticky! I also used it a while ago on the seal that runs along the top of my galvanised capping when I had a leak at the rear of one of my vehicles, which seemed to help. _________________ 2 1981 Stage One 109 V8 Station Wagons |

I just googled it and find it's no longer available - typical - anything I like or use is always discontinued - so it's back to the drawing board - I shall have to make what I have last _________________ 2 1981 Stage One 109 V8 Station Wagons |

I had some of that. I wonder if it's still lurking in the garage. It certainly worked. _________________ Alan Drover.

It still sounds like a boating publication! _________________ Rich.

First spot to you then Morson. I haven’t seen one yet. I did see a nice 110 station wagon in white with a roof rack and snorkel on my journey home. Again, I didn’t wave as I was in Mrs K’s golf... _________________ Rich.

There's no indication in the window of the nearby unisex hairdresser when they're going to open. Mrs. D phoned this afternoon and has an appointment Monday 13th this month. She's getting fed up with her hair getting too long. My offer to trim it with the dog clippers wasn't taken up. I use the same hairdresser but my hair isn't too bad so I'll leave it for a while.
Super Saturday tomorrow. I won't be going to the pub though with all the ridiculous conditions attached. I'll wait for a while. Anyway it'll be busy probably but interesting to see how long anyone can put up with the conditions.
I've now paid for the large box of Land Rover bits that I ordered about 3 months ago by not going to the pub. _________________ Alan Drover.

I keep waving at LR's of every description, but I get bemused looks more than anything else.

Friendly spiders??? That’s showing off! Mine just sit on the end of their web, teasing me to try and catch them as I’m driving! _________________ Rich.

4th July. Independence Day in more way than one. Or Super Saturday as the papers appear to be calling it, with further lockdown restrictions being eased and pubs, bars and more opening again. Glad I’m not working this weekend! _________________ Rich.

Super Saturday started with the bike opposite us getting a haircut at 0900hrs. He must have been the first through the doors at the barbers up the road.
Mrs K has taken some shopping to the in-laws who are still isolating and has picked up my prescription, so I’ve had a couple of hours at home. I used the time to clear the garage (rearrange a few things to make space really!) and put the controversial cabinet in from the back of the 90, where it has sat for the last three weeks. Mrs K will likely notice it’s absence from the 90 and ask what I’ve done with it... But the garage looks tidier with it in.
I did find another dead mouse, which had to be disposed of. _________________ Rich.

It meant to say BLOKE opposite, but the iPad didn’t like it, and changed it to bike. I’ve never seen a bike with a haircut!
I had to re-read all of my posts from the last 24 hours to realise what had happened. _________________ Rich.
