Super Saturday it may be but not for me as I didn't go to the pub. Dog walk this morning then garage tidying. There are racks on the wall on which are hung various sizes of plastic containers. I ended up with 4 empty ones. I found a pair of headlamp rims for a Riley 1.5 and a Solex carburettor for a Series 2 Land Rover. I'll see what others have experienced in going to the pub before I go.
The lunatics are at it again. The idiotic "experts/professors/mad scientists are attempting to brainwash us by telling ur that we're all going to catch the lurgy now restrictions have been relaxed. These types are beneath contempt.
Now, especially for you Geoff. Try "Winchester Cathedral" by The New Vaudeville Band. _________________ Alan Drover.

I'm not looking, Alan. I've had a 'super' enough Saturday already here in the ghetto, thank you. If I've ever heard it before, I've long since erased it from my memory (I could recommend my only ever YouTube upload - Hummingbird Backflip - set to the music of Meadowlands by the Jefferson Airplane:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gh_E8dCCIbw
It could do with a few more views if it's ever going to go viral before the end of the universe. I'm really not very good at self-promotion) _________________ 2 1981 Stage One 109 V8 Station Wagons |

Ok, Alan, I regret that you have jogged my memory - Winchester Cathedral - no one could accuse them of having stolen the tune from Waterloo Sunset by the Kinks, could they?? _________________ 2 1981 Stage One 109 V8 Station Wagons |

More music before my time.
I did spend a bit of time yesterday listening to 90’s hits through an online radio station. More later when I’m cooking tea.
Mrs K wasn’t too bothered by me spending a bit of time clearing the garage and putting in the controversial cabinet. _________________ Rich.

I don't think the two sound anything like each other. However as the only music my ear is tuned to is the sound of engines running, I wouldn't know. _________________ Alan Drover.

On local radio this morning someone was being interviewed about his experience going to the pub Saturday. He walked to his local, had to wait outside in the drizzle before he was allowed in but while outside he realised that if someone there tested positive for the lurgy,he'd be contacted and told to self isolate for a fortnight and he didn't want to be off work so he went home. That's exactly my feeling so I won't be going to the pub until some form of sanity returns (if it's possible in this funny farm.)
The Land Rover was on dog walking duty this morning and on the return home I drove past 4 pubs including my local. There were customers present at all 4 but none looked particularly busy so maybe others are thinking the same as I am.
I saw 2 Series 3's on the homeward journey. One was a suffix W 88 with side windows waiting to exit a side road so I waved and he waved back. The other was a hard top 109 which I saw as I turned into the side road to home. _________________ Alan Drover.

We saw a very tidy Series SWB with tan cloth roof coming from Alfriston this afternoon. Lovely.
I wanted to wave like a girly...but I was in the spare car a Skoda Yeti and thought better of it.
'twas a very nice one though, young fella in dark glasses.
If it was You, get in touch _________________ Gone but not forgotten:
