At the pub lunchtime a member of staff handed the contact list to a customer to fill in his details. He had plenty of time to note the details on the list including mine. The list is effectively compromised.
I had a word with the landlady who said staff had been instructed to fill details in themselves and apologised profusely. I pointed out that the list is left on the bar and I can read upside down so I could easily memorize names and numbers.
It's worrying. I have blockers on my mobile and land line and before I entered my mobile number into the land line phone's caller list I couldn't ring home.
Better safe than sorry. We don't get any scam calls.
LR Optional Equipment has got very favourable comments on the Series 2 club forum for FWH, overdrive and winch spares. RTC7136, the nylon strap in Fairey FWH's is available from them. These straps are not easily obtainable.

Keep us updated on your reply from your MP, assuming you get one Alan. I wrote to our previous MP about their cuts to Policing and he didn’t even bother replying. I was glad when he lost his seat.

I had a few hours in the garden today and finally managed to get the grass seed put down. Let’s hope the birds dont have it. Rolling Eyes

There was a post on FB this evening by a member from one of the quite local Landy clubs, showing a couple of dead wild animals on the rear tailgate of a defender, these animal which are now illegal to be hunted using dogs. These particular creatures had been killed using a shotgun. At the time of looking, there were 92 replies, many of which were quite abusive for his involvement in the demise of these creatures. Some of the posts appeared to be from fellow Landy owners too, surprisingly.

I'll think about it Rich. I don't want the site to become political. I'll see what he says first. He's always replied so far.

The 90 was parked at work earlier. I returned to it to find a Td5 110 station wagon with roof tent parked next to it. Parking rules applied! Very Happy

On the journey back from training in Clevedon, I followed a nice dark blue 90 station wagon with galvanised chassis and body capping. A very nice example. Smile

He has replied Rich. I'll leave it there.
Tomorrow is the autumnal equinox. Sony Classic Movie Channel, 50 on Freeview, is showing continual C word movies already. I won't be watching any of them, unless there's a good horror one.
Puppy sitting today. It's hard work but it'll be worth it when he's older. We're getting there.

Having read the latest government guidelines for Covid19, I find myself thinking - is it still safe to be on this forum?

Well, I opened the front door tonight only to be confronted by Reynard himself standing on the opposite side of the road staring at me. He wasn't actually holding a sign saying 'Ginger Lives Matter', but then he didn't need to!

Parked outside the local fish & chippery Saturday night, a small boy walked past my green V8 with his parents and practically erupted with enthusiasm at the "soldiers' car" - it seemed to have made his evening! So it seems they haven't quite succeeded in feminising the entire younger generation yet Smile

On the subject of the c-word, our local garden centre already has a display of c-word decorations and cards. That’s with over three months to go! Rolling Eyes Although cribbs causeway shopping centre in Bristol has binned its c-word wonderland attraction this year due to the lurgy and Cheltenham has cancelled its c-word lights turn-on event.
