No purchases this week, but in between night shifts and sleep, Iíll try to give it a pressure wash and clean as Mrs K is at the in-laws with baby knappster.

Must make the most of the opportunity! Wink Smile

I'll see your reverse light and raise you three - I've got two, on each of my Stage Ones - original factory-fitted - very useful when going backwards, in the dark. Signed, Smug Git Smile

My old 2.25 Series 3 had an amber beacon on the roof I used to put on to see when reversing in the dark - very useful for sending long-distance messages too! (bit like smoke signals Smile ) That was before mobile phones of course, but I still miss it

Managed to pressure wash and sponge the 90! And it even had a polish! Very Happy Must admit, despite bits of faded paint she doesnít polish up too bad! Very Happy

I removed the reverse light lense to change the bulb to find that water has got in and corroded the bulb holder. It also appears that a previous owner has tried to repair a broken reflector and holder in the light with glue, somewhat unsuccessfully. Looks like something else for the shopping list at Newbury next month... Rolling Eyes Smile

At the last Land Rover show at the Bath and West showground in Somerset, I was helping on the club stand and Frank had a few orange beacons that were being sold for charity. I believe they had been replaced for more modern ones but I can't remember the organization. Anyway I bought one

Tried bidding on a galvanised roof rack for the 90 very local to me but didnít win it. I had a price in mind for a maximum bid but it went over so Iíll keep looking.

The strange thing is I donít really need a roof rack for the 90 but I found myself bidding on one! The joys of shopping on eBay!!!

Know what you mean - I have found myself doing the same thing and bidding for things that I don't really need. Sometimes I find myself trying to win something to keep as a spare - even though there is probably no chance of ever needing it.

Keeps me busy at night instead of being sat watching crap on the TV.

You are describing my life! Just remember, fleabay can be very useful for the things you need, but what it's really for is the things you just want Smile

Phew! I thought I was the only one! You know when you get that knock at the door from a courier thinking what has she bought now? Only to see your own name on the label! Sh*t I don't remember ordering anything! Then it's where can I hide a truck cab?
