You can't beat the appearance of a Series III front end. It would be a sacrilege to try and make it a flat-front!

By the way, what does "lol" mean Question My daughter(13) uses it a lot in her texts to mates but doesn't really know for sure what it means - lots of laughs? lots of love? laugh out loud? I'm obviously an old fa*t and don't understand the modern lingo!

Actually it wouldn't have looked so bad if he had left the wheelarch spats off. They look completely wrong with the narrow track of the Series axles.

Only my opinion.

Why would anybody do that? I'm still toyng with the idea of changing the radiator panel of my S111 for a 2A one and moving the headlights. Do you still get stick for making a S111 look like a 2A?

If any of you knew Major Hervy- Bathurst of Eastnor Castle, you will know what he thourgh of any type of alterations, he hated them, even to having the wrong colours.

And for those of you who did not know him He was
MR LAND ROVER when we held events at Eastnor he would turn up and take me to find a different section we had not driven before, but we had to stop and feed the deer before that, You would find him mixed in with club members shouting "give it some welly use 2nd" he looked like a Major and he and his wife had a lot of time for the club.
When he died Land Rover Special vehicles built a one off hearse to carry his coffin. if was I am told dismantled after the funeral

A Very nice man

Your Land Rover is yours to do with what you will. Personally, rather than spend money on cosmetics, (for the landy, not you), I'd see to the mechanics etc. first. Then you can think about other things. Wink
