What do you think? im sure the exmoor trim option is better, but its also 4 times the price!

For 55 I'd forget it. I've got a BJ Acoustics cab kit in the 90. I think it was around 150 four years back. Don't know if they are still on the go.

it probably won't fit well either Exclamation mort had a carpet set/soundproofing kit come free with his landy, it was also from paddocks. it had never been fitted, so before the MOT i had the job of fitting it Rolling Eyes was terrible Shocked does block out some noise but not much. i believe it cost the previous owner 50. personally i'd save up, otherwise in a few months you'll be throwing it away and buying something a bit better quality Wink

i had a brain wave i think last night about this in mine

i got a parcel the other day from pop rivit and it had that silver foam stuff that they use to reflect the sun out of car windscreens you know the stuff you always carry in the boot for when you park in the sun

well anyway if i sandwhiched two layers of this stuff between my floor plates would it work as sound damping i have 2 floors cos i got chequre plate ones on top of standard ally ones

what you think

Having driven P90 all the way from Peterborough last weekend any sound proofing would be an advantage Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing

I've been happy with NoiseKiller stuff (although I only have the under bonnet kit so far). I'm trying to save up for the cab kit, but other problems keep cropping up Rolling Eyes

If the club were to start selling it, I'd certainly have a looksee (when I eventually save some money for 'luxuries' Twisted Evil

I have the exmoor trim one fitted. I have since found out this is the same product as the Wright Offroad kit. It did make a huge difference to the noise.

I am now considering the under bonnet stuff from noise killer. Does anyone have any comments about this kit?

There is a company on my estate that does a fantastic lining service. It reduces noise and is virtually indestructable. They quoted me 325 for the complete rear interior of my 109. It is better than any other liner on the market. The only downside is it cannot be removed once applied. So will make patching a rear tub almost impossible, so you must make sure everything is dead right before you get it done.

Their website is http://www.xkengineering.co.uk/loadliners.htm

Have just fitted an "expensive" one and it is worth the extra output. It was a bit of a pig to fit but there is an article in January's Landrover Monthly which was very helpful. The finished effect is well smart and you can actually have a conversation while driving! Amazing! Surprised

I have been very happy with the underbonnet kit from noise killer. The engine definately sounds more muffled, but the kit won't be very effective without something inside to back it up. Call it the tip of the iceberg if you will Exclamation It also comes with some pads for the inner wings, but these are a bit small, so request some bigger ones if you can.

I've got the Wright off road kit and foam under the bonnet bought from Germany via eBay.
Both are a magnificent improvement. I can hear my iPod, with earphones only though.
