Know we're going off topic now, but I read whichever mag has the most interesting in it for any month.
Recently, this has extended to include Your Horse, as a couple of months back that had more of interest in it than any of the usual LR mags, sorry to say!
But seriously, I'd rather stand in Smiths and have a look at which is going to be of most interest and most use than subscribing to any one brand these days. _________________ 1978 Series 3 S/W 2.25 Petrol/LPG

ive stuck with LRM because i think they're 'project vehicle' articles are good - but you really do need to read from one issue to the next, other wise you miss out on bits and get lost - which of course is what they intend!! _________________ There's only one tool in the Landy toolkit - a big hammer!

I have a subscription to LRO, but I read others from time to time if they have something particularly interesting in them.

I've got literally boxes of LRO going back to the mid 90s - along with a few issues of LRE, LRM, etc.
I usually subscribe to LRO but occassionally buy one other landy rag if its got something interesting in it. Must admit LRM has been MUCH better than LRE over the past couple of years. I'm even tempted to swap allegience when the sub expires! Of course, I'll be buying LRM next month for the club write up - they'd better make it a good un _________________ Currently:

The Magazine (series 3 club)would get my vote as the rest just seme to be completly interesting in advertising, in one form or another, having said that i have a subscription to LRW. _________________ The Bigot

I seem to have that little bit of luck when I do something I havn`t done before, a voice in the back of my head says, "I`m sure there was a feature on this in one of the issues" so I don`t mind spending half an hour sorting through them. In an earlier post I replied to I didn`t want to say which mag I prefered as it was a reply to a new member and people should choose their own and not be guided by anyone else, but the only one I ever bother with is LRO, so my vote is cast |

Just a little bit, commenting on the TACR 1, I'm normally quite shy and reserved you know! _________________ 1978 Series 3 S/W 2.25 Petrol/LPG

I subscribe to LRO, I do read some of the others very occasionally, if they look interesting. Not a big fan of paparatzi spy shots though.... _________________ Miles

I have all but LRE and get fed up with the yearly cycle it seems that every thing is repeated every year and adverts
The next Club magazine will be arriving with members soon, posted out on Friday.
The bigot, said he also was not that happy with advertising. I would like to say that with the clubs magazine, we have advertising, but if lets say we had another company put a full page colour advert in, this would NOT decrease the number of pages for articles it would give the club another
colour page + another 3 black & white pages |
